Heya David,

As previously mentioned I need to be able to talk to the Pololu servo controllers which receive on a basic logic level serial. The baud is auto detected.

What serial interface would you recommend from the Penguino board?

The AVR software UART library on this page should be able to do what you want with only small modifications (for timing):
